When you have solar installed, you may produce more electricity than what you use. When that happens, any excess power that you generate then gets sent back to the grid.
We then pay you for those units via a credit on your bill, wonderful!
How this offer works
You’ll get our 18 cents per kWh buy-back rate for up to 500 units per billing cycle, this rate is fixed for the duration of your 2 year contract.
If you end up exporting more than 500 units back to the grid, you’ll switch to our standard buy-back rate of 8.5 cents per kWh.
How to get our big 18 cent buy-back rate
1. Get your solar installed with Harrisons Solar.
2. If you’re not already a Mercury customer, we’ll get you signed up to Mercury on a 2 year electricity contract.
3. We’ll then install an import/export meter for free (if you don’t already have one), which will record any excess solar you generate.
4. You’ll get our big 18 centbuy-back rate (excludingGST and discounts).
